Kenne Shepherd Interior Design Architecture PLLC (KSI) offers the hands-on attention of a boutique design firm along with the comprehensive services and experience of a much larger one. KSI provides a full range of interior architectural design and interior design services from initial concept through construction to project completion. Integral to each project is a focus on sustainable design and wellness design.
We begin each project by listening to our clients to understand their goals, desires, and ambitions. Throughout the design process, we maintain ongoing communication with our clients to ensure that the design fulfills their needs and requirements. For each project, we bring together the right team of consultants, vendors, and contractors and develop a realistic project schedule that we monitor to meet our clients’ deadlines. We’re equally vigilant in monitoring the project budget. Throughout the project, we keep our clients abreast of each step and the decisions necessary for efficient progress.
Our success is due in part to the comprehensive contract documents that we produce. Conveying a thoroughly detailed design makes it possible to control the design during construction and protect the client. Meticulous drawings result in better pricing from contractors and fewer questions and change orders during construction. They safeguard that what we design gets built.
Kenne Shepherd AIA, LEED AP ID+C, WELL AP is uniquely qualified to watch over projects during construction having worked for general contractors for several years before embarking on her career as an architect. From that experience, she speaks their language and has an innate understanding of how the construction process works and how projects go together. She has forged strong relationships with qualified contractors and vendors that work collaboratively to realize KSI’s design projects.
