Salvatore Ferragamo National Expansion – San Francisco Store
Union Square, San Francisco, CA

The West Coast flagship store offers a fresh, classic image synonymous with the family’s definition of modern style. Its sweeping interior vistas, dynamic two-story vertical spaces illuminated by a floating lighting grid, and generous architectural proportions bring a fresh minimalist style and soft modern appeal to the time-honored tradition of the family name.

The architecture offers a subtle play of shades, textures, and finishes as an inviting backdrop to the rich displays of Ferragamo’s sensuous leathers, cashmere, and silks. Design features used to achieve the store’s softer nuance include bleached maple shelves that seemingly float in front of display panels; satin finished walnut display cases with stainless steel frames that stand elegantly poised throughout the space; and a subtle rhythm of mirrors that highlights the displays and defines each product group.
