Salvatore Ferragamo National Expansion
Nationwide

Our firm worked closely with the House of Ferragamo for over six years. We developed its core retail identity, created by Italian Architect Roberto Monsani, into a full-blown retail concept that is uniquely “Ferragamo” in quality, style, and character, yet responsive to the practical demands of the American marketplace.

In creating more than 65 stores and shops across the country, we were responsible for each project’s architectural and retail design and development. Though similar in look, with black framed display fixtures showcasing the merchandise under soaring ceilings and floating “light boats,” each project was a unique response to its location, market, and surrounding environment.

Working closely with Ferragamo’s team, we developed the merchandise and display fixture layout and created detailed millwork drawings of the display fixtures and other millwork items for fabrication in the US. We also created detailed drawings of the architectural elements, including new storefronts and entries, suspended “light boats” floating over the retail floors, the back-of-house areas, and general construction elements.
