Keeping it simple and uncluttered was our mantra in designing this two-bedroom model apartment in a renovated factory building in a quaint village within commuting distance of New York City. Working with the apartment’s “good bones” – wonderful 13-feet-high ceilings and oversized windows looking out onto the countryside – we created an elegant, timeless environment on a budget.
Sensitive to our client’s desire to invest wisely in this showpiece, we furnished the living/dining room, bedroom, and study with carefully selected furnishings from Crate and Barrel. Then we created a dramatic, luxurious accent wall by framing the window with beautiful floor-to-ceiling draperies in an iridescent Bergamo fabric adding just the right touch of glamour and elegance.
